Here we would like to bring your attention to the decorative serif digital font family known as the Algerian Font. This typeface is designed in the early 20th century under the name of British foundry Stephenson, Blake, and Co.
All the rights of the design of this font have been owned by Linotype, while the name ‘Algerian’ is a trademark of the International Typeface Corporation. Because of its highly legible appearance, many designers make use of this typeface in their projects.
At the time of release, this typeface only contains the capital letters but after the update in 2005 by Michael Hagemann from FontMesa he added the lowercase letters to this typeface and that can be used with againts font and its styles.
