Mermaid Font is a serif typeface that comes in different types of weights and styles like bold, regular, and italic. This typeface was designed and developed by Cott Simpson. It is quite beautiful and also a modern typeface that comes with some qualities of lato font such as the smooth and round curves of characters.
Just because this typeface has such a strong presence it is not great for long text. But yes it would be great for the poster designing magazines cover and headlines as it was for montserrat font.
Mermaid font is available for free download. This is great for its text generator function and also for its use in circuits. This tail typeface has a great font family.
